It's been about 2.5 years since our nearly full renovation of our 1908 build home. We still admire the changes that were made and after living and cleaning since then we appreciate the level of detail and craftmanship in the work even more. It took quite a while to finalise the design with some changes to the team and there were quite a few variations during the renovation due to the age of the house and the discoveries after peeling off the layers. Andrew provided many options along the way and despite the numerous and extensive additions to the plan the build did not take much longer than planned. If you want to take the stress out of managing a building project and end up with a beautiful outcome, then Lux is for you. You will get what you pay for.
We had a fantastic experience with the team at Lux - Pen, Kip, Andrew and Kyle, including their contractors. We had a total overhaul of our kitchen, which included knocking down interior walls and replacing/matching floor boards. They were extremely professional and listened carefully to what we wanted. They were at our premises every day and kept to their timeline to completion of works. What was most outstanding was their immediate response to any concerns or questions we had, which is rare in the building industry. Their workmanship and attention to detail cannot be faulted as well, which is a testament to their integrity. We highly recommend Lux. You won't be disappointed.
Lux Interiors recently completed an extensive renovation of our apartment. Every single aspect of their work has been outstanding, from initial engagement and design development through to the construction and finishing stage. The Lux team has experienced, professional and deeply knowledgeable builders and designers, and work with tradesman and cabinet makers of the highest calibre. Every detail of the build, big and small, was given the same rigorous care and attention. The end result is beyond our wildest dreams; we cannot recommend Lux highly enough. We can’t recommend Lux interiors more highly. Andrew is a true Jack of all trades. His vision and management together really made our project. From his first site visit, he recommended different structural changes that hands down made our home, and really opened up the room. We called him the wizard because his ideas were genius and also made so much sense, and also factored in future renovation ideas well. He was also great at taking on board our feedback and working that in with his suggestions. From a budget point of view too. Andrew was spot on with the deadline and the work was performed to the highest standard. We couldn’t ask for more. If you want someone who is trustworthy, reliable, genuine, with great vision, we highly recommend using Lux Interiors.
The word I would use for my experience with Lux is perfection. From the first consultation, I immediately clicked with the designer, she got what I was saying and nailed the brief with the follow up drawings. Throughout the renovation period, all staff were quick to respond to my calls, texts and emails. Nothing was too hard for them, their attention to detail was superb, ensuring all trades delivered their best work. The whole process was stress free for me, as Lux had my full trust due to their work ethic, professionalism, and outstanding workmanship. I would definitely use them for any project in the future.
Absolutely brilliant experience for us with our extensive bathroom and laundry renovations. Andrew and Kerrie were fantastic to deal with from the very start, despite a few curveballs sent their way by our indecisiveness. We had a few basic ideas but needed help bringing it all together. The design process is so thorough, with every little detail discussed and planned out. Having a designer actually obtain samples for viewing and providing different ideas was fantastic. Kerrie also clearly picked up on our style ideas and always worked within those requirements. Lux also worked with our very limited window of opportunity to build and got everything done as scheduled. Andrew provides access to the scheduling calendar so that you can see exactly what stage the build is at throughout. And the end product was nothing short of spectacular - clearly all trades involved with Lux are at the top of their game as the end results were flawless.

We engaged Lux Interiors to renovate our large en-suite bathroom. This company is extremely professional in every aspect. Their communication, Scheduling and the trades they employ. Renovation can be messy but honestly they prepared and cleaned up every day. The finished product was much better than I imagined. Their designer was a joy to work with and I can not recommend them highly enough.
The Lux Team completed a bathroom & laundry renovation for us late last year. From start to finish, the work was done at a very high standard and the end result was fantastic. Kerrie and Andrew's attention to detail and professionalism was faultless. We are looking forward to using Lux again for further renovations this year. I can highly recommend this Business.
Lux renovated our main bathroom in our federation house in East Fremantle. The design phase with Kerrie was fantastic and she was always willing to come up with alternative suggestions and she was very knowledgable about the fixtures and fittings and materials that would be suitable for the project.. She kept the bathroom sympathetic with the era of our home and yet was able to give it a modern touch. The trades people were very polite, on time and their workmanship was excellent, with amazing attention to detail. I would highly recommend Lux for any interior renovation project, although not the cheapest company around, they definitely deliver on quality, professionalism and they finished out project with some structural changes in 4 weeks. Andrew and his team are very impressive and we shall be calling on their services again to renovate our kitchen ! 🙂
Lux Interiors - Recommendation
In February 2020 we had identified a couple of apartments in South Perth for purchase, both needing some upgrade work. Faced with a choice we contacted Kerrie Richardson of Lux Interiors and asked would they like to be part of the decision-making equation. With guidance from Kerrie and Kyle we were able to make the right purchase decision. Subsequently we commissioned Lux Interiors to turn a bedroom into a Study and to make a storeroom fit for purpose and readily accessible.
The results were exceptional; Kerrie’s design process was quite inclusive and Kyle’s attention to detail remarkable. They made easy the decisions on two pack colour, bench top timber, bevelled edges and draw and door handles. With the storeroom door I noted that Kyle insisted on the sub-contractor returning for a second visit to make the fit just right. The job was planned to a high level of detail and each activity completed to schedule. Fit out from floor to ceiling, floor covering to carpet reinstall was done to a precise level of detail.
Overall, the job from our engagement as clients, to design, construction and fit out was an exceptional and memorable experience. It was a good day when we made a contact with Lux Interiors and our outcome is a testament to their skill and attention to detail. Very happy to recommend the team to other prospective clients.
