The Avenue

The Avenue Penthouse is a highly crafted apartment transformation that reflects the strength of collaboration between design and construction. Designed by Prince Design and built by Lux Interiors, the project is defined by technical complexity, bespoke craftsmanship, and a shared commitment to excellence.

At the heart of the home, the kitchen was carefully constructed to preserve uninterrupted Swan River views. A sculptural stone island with softened curves anchors the space as a functional and social hub, while a full scullery was integrated without expanding the kitchen footprint. Integrated refrigeration, pocket-door appliance cupboards and a steel-framed wine cellar were all executed with precision to achieve the kitchen’s refined, hotel-like finish. The most defining feature of the build is the staircase. Originally angular, it was reimagined as a smooth, elliptical form through a design-as-you-go process. Entirely custom-built and finished in polished plaster, it flows seamlessly into the surrounding walls as a sculptural centrepiece. Future-proofing was central to the renovation, with the integration of a lift requiring extensive engineering and slab modifications. Custom curved, double-glazed windows further modernise the apartment, enhancing performance while framing the river beyond.
